Baseworks Master Class breaks down the practice concepts that form the core of the method. The details offered in a Master Class can be immediately applied by students to support a more informed understanding of how to progress effectively.

Objectives

Baseworks Practice has a lot more to offer than just only improving physical health. Supporting students to develop an effective and intelligent practice that matches individual condition is the primary goal. 

Baseworks Master Class focuses on these 4 principles:

    SMART PRACTICE

    We place less importance initially on trying to develop strength & flexibility, and more on refining the quality of movement within one's relative capacity.

  • INDIVIDUALITY
    INDIVIDUALITY

    Everyone has different physical and cognitive challenges. Understanding individual limitations provides the best tools for making anyone's practice progress safer and more sustainable.

  • CONTINUITY
    CONTINUITY

    The conventional approach to most physical practices evolves around targeting gains to measure progress. In Baseworks we see physical gains only as a byproduct of the continuity and commitment to the practice. Progress is measured as a coherence between the body and mind to moderate the output.

  • INTERNALIZE
    INTERNALIZE

    We explore to the tendency of idealizing a physically perfect practice. INTERNALISING the process is the key to success in the Baseworks Practice Method.

Baseworks Master Class is conducted in an interactive workshop style format. It offers great insights on how to cycle between the Baseworks Practice Modules (public classes), also acting as a bridge to progress from one module (class level) to the next.
