This self-paced online course provides a comprehensive introduction to the Baseworks Method in 10 segments, connecting theoretical concepts with physical practice. The structured learning platform enables you to explore the ideas at your own pace while practically integrating what you learn to get the most out of what the practice offers.

The course is to be completed within 3 months (after completing the 1st lesson). It currently contains 71 lesson (we periodically update our Introductory course and add new materials). The course fee also includes 3 months of access to the Baseworks Practice Platform’s BASIC tier, supporting practice online from anywhere.

Building on your understanding of Forms, this segment explores the learning goal-setting approach in Baseworks. You’ll learn to establish clear objectives to enhance your awareness of movement quality while maintaining consistent engagement throughout your practice.

Segment 4: Intensity Modification
This segment addresses how to adjust your approach to any movement based on current physical and mental states. You’ll develop the ability to recognize and respond to signals from your body and varying energy levels, ensuring your practice remains productive regardless of circumstances.

Segment 5: Movement Transitions
This segment examines the fluidity of movement within each form and how forms connect to each other emphasizing movement as a continuous process. The quality of movement transitions enhances your awareness of the finer details of movement.

Segment 6: Ignition
Mindset is important. Discover systematic approaches to beginning practice sessions. This segment teaches methods for calibrating your physical and mental state, creating conditions that support productive engagement with the practice

Segment 7: Assimilation
Similar to how sleep is crucial for memory and skill consolidation, certain practices can enhance the outcomes of a practice session. Explore techniques for processing and integrating practice outcomes. You’ll learn to recognize and retain insights gained during practice.

Segment 8: Cycling
Understanding how alternating between different aspects of practice develops a broader perspective. This approach helps you recognize patterns and connections across various movement experiences, connecting them to the broader context of your life.
