Join us at the International Conference on Neuroscience and Neurology (ICNN 2025) in Astana, Kazakhstan, from October 5-7, 2025, where Ksenia (Asia) Shcherbakova will present our research on “Perceptual Skills and Movement Miscommunication” stemming from the reverse-engineering of the Baseworks method.
“What patterns emerge when movements are refined solely for cross-learner communicability?”
The presentation will present Baseworks’ naturalistic, embodied, practical answer to this question, emerging from the “collective wisdom” of 10,000 learners, whose “movement communication” over 10 years revealed somatosensory discrimination as a bottleneck in motor skill acquisition. We will introduce the common movement patterns that are surprisingly difficult for many people, and which, in turn, develop perceptual skills in the somatosensory domain.
The presentation will highlight our key findings and discuss the insights for pedagogical frameworks and potential applications in cognitive neuroscience.
Dates: October 5-7 (The Baseworks presentation will take place on Day 2, between 14.10–15.40)
