There is a strong focus on developing strength and stamina for all types of physical training. Much of this is centered on benchmarks for progress which are accompanied by the transformation of the physique. Although the body’s appearance may change the more you train it, it can be easy to become physique or strength centric when trying to hit those superhuman goals.

Bruce Lee used to say, “The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

I believe he meant that one needs to become a pure intuitive action, attuned to the surroundings without the limitation of self. This is intertesting considering many of the current paradigms in the movement, fitness, and personal development sectors are all about self-concsisousness.

Just think about it, if the goal is hyper-focused on self-consciousness, doesn’t it blur the surrounding background of the unpredictability of life?This VS utilizes the Baseworks Sense, Control, Adapt framework to explore the idea of looking at the reality of ever-changing physical and environmental circumstances, the concept of struggle, and the cultivation of perception as integral components of physical development. Our framework breaks down how each action belongs to a holistic process of analysis and intention.

This session will be approximately 50% theory, 30% self-reflection, and 20% practice.

Whereas the Online Practice Sessions are designed to provide the opportunity to develop your practice through repetition, the Virtual Sessions are designed to provide real-time feedback and insight, which can then be re-applied during the Online Practice Sessions.

The level of interactivity in the Virtual Sessions is dependent on the interest/involvement of the participants and may vary from session to session.

Each virtual session lasts from 60 to 90 minutes.
