So much of what is emphasized in the fitness and movement industries is how “functional” movement practices are informing better outcomes.

While this is true, if you do not have an understanding of the basic elements that make up holistic movement, you may not be able to appropriately adopt and sustain the benefits of a “functional” movement practice.

In the Baseworks Method, we have a term called Antifunctional Movement. In this VS we will go over the Baseworks Gridlines & Symmetry Principle that focuses on symmetrical and asymmetrical templates to establish awareness of tracing movements on a grid.

Be ready for an immersion into the realm of Antifunctional movement! This VS will be approximately 20% theory and 80% practice.

What are virtual Sessions?

Virtual Sessions are a “live” educational format offered on the Baseworks Practice Platform.

Whereas the Online Practice Sessions are designed to provide the opportunity to develop your practice through repetition, the Virtual Sessions are designed to provide real-time feedback and insight, which can then be re-applied during the Online Practice Sessions.

The level of interactivity in the Virtual Sessions is dependent on the interest/involvement of the participants and may vary from session to session.

Each virtual session lasts from 60 to 90 minutes.
