Yes, Vocabulary repeated twice in the title is not a copy-pasting mistake. Any method inevitably develops its lingo, either coming up with new words or reusing already existing general terms to refer to something specific within the method.

The Baseworks Method is not an exception. We have quite a few terms referring to particular movements, movement characteristics, muscle coactivation patterns and characteristics, attention allocation principles, ways to visualize certain movements, and so on, which we have to apply simultaneously at high speed when being still or performing physical movements.

In this VS, we will take a list of Baseworks-specific English vocabulary for Baseworks movement vocabulary and will try to understand what exactly needs to be done when we use a particular term when guiding movement.

This VS will be approximately 20% theory and 80% practice.

What are virtual Sessions?

Virtual Sessions are a “live” educational format offered on the Baseworks Practice Platform.

Whereas the Online Practice Sessions are designed to provide the opportunity to develop your practice through repetition, the Virtual Sessions are designed to provide real-time feedback and insight, which can then be re-applied during the Online Practice Sessions.

The level of interactivity in the Virtual Sessions is dependent on the interest/involvement of the participants and may vary from session to session.

Each virtual session lasts from 60 to 90 minutes.
