Saturday 14th December 10:00-11:30

Baseworks is a movement approach that helps anyone to better feel and understand the body while developing strength, flexibility, and better control over one’s movements.

Instead of focusing on what the movement should look like, it focuses on what the movement should feel like, developing one’s awareness of how to move the body in a way that is conducive to individual condition and specific goals.

Tokyo and San Francisco based Baseworks method certified instructor, Satoko Horie, will be offering a Baseworks Practice Foundation Module 90 minute experience in SOMA.

The Foundation Module is excellent in opening the doorway to understanding fundamental movement dynamics and structural limitations.

This experience is an informational introduction for the upcoming Baseworks Movement Principles Immersion. All are welcome to join, regardless of any background in any movement/physical practice.

Please join with clothing that is easy to move in. The practice will take place directly on a wooden floor so if you prefer some cushioning, please bring your own mat to practice on.
